What started with one book, has grown to incorporate design and publishing services for many authors and business owners.

Our Brand
Why a Butterfly?
When I was thinking of a name to call our publishing house, I wanted it to represent everyone. Being a writer of the Inclusive Books for Children genre meant I wanted to ensure it had strong associations with inclusion. I love metaphors and having been in the graphic design industry for 20+ years, I know that memorable and successful business names often use familiar words that translated into imagery in our minds. This ensures our best chance of remembering it.
A butterfly perfectly represents what we aim to do.
We aim to bring hope and positive change to the lives of young children and their families.
Our Metaphor
The butterfly represents struggling children that persist when things are a challenge, continue to learn and grow, then transform into bright and happy individuals who are ready to fly confidently into the world.
Our Logo
On first glance you see a butterfly and words. Looking closer you’ll notice the illustration has been created with B for Butterfly and a P for Publishing. The lines within the B represent the written word ie. publishing. So when we publish a resource, we create a butterfly.
