How to publish a book provides students with real life examples on how I publish my own books and the process of working with other authors. I share images of what the process looks like, how long parts of the process take and an overview of what is technically required to publish.
This session is inspiring, engaging, informative and practical.

Factors I consider when quoting include: School location (for travel time), In-person or virtual presentation, number of attendees, how many sessions required, advance bookings are preferred and postage for books and leaflets (if presentations are virtual). All presentations are customised for your school or group. Sample quote: 30 minute Author Talk in a Sunbury school library/amphitheatre for 1, 2 or 3 classes of the same year level at a time = $300 (Preparation of customised presentation, travel, set up and presenting, follow up Q&A and/or delivery of additional books) + $53.90 for a signed copy of ‘I’m a Dyslexic Superhero’ and a signed copy of ‘The Eczema Detective’ for the school library. Invoices are itemised allowing for budgetary allocations.
